Coding agents and many other AI tools let you choose where they send their requests. Point a tool at the SinarCloud AI API and it runs on the models in your SinarCloud console. Each request is charged to your prepaid rupiah balance and appears on your Usage page, like any other API request.

How tools connect

The SinarCloud AI API accepts requests in two formats. Both use the same API key, the same models, and the same balance.

Before you start

Every guide needs the same three things: an API key, the base URL, and a model alias. Set them up once, then follow the guide for your tool.

Before you connect

Create an API key, choose a model, and save your key as an environment variable.

Compatibility

What a model needs to run a coding agent, and which tool features don’t work through SinarCloud.

What it costs

You pay for the tokens each request uses, at the prices on the Models page. Coding agents send the conversation so far, including the files they’ve read, with every request, so one session can use many tokens. To see what a tool spends, give it its own API key and filter the Usage page by that key. Before you connect has more tips.
